About this cruise
The Progreso Express is the Islander's other 4-night getaway from Tampa. You get a sea day on each side of a full day in Progreso, on Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula.
Progreso is the jumping-off point for the Mayan ruins at Dzibilchaltún and Uxmal, swimming in a cenote, or an afternoon in the colonial city of Mérida. If you would rather stay close, the malecón and its beach are a short walk from the pier. Back on board, the Islander has the full Margaritaville lineup of bars, restaurants and entertainment.
Itinerary
Day 1: Depart Tampa. Explore the ship and catch the sail-away party.
Day 2: Day at sea. Pools, live music and the spa.
Day 3: Progreso, Mexico. Mayan ruins, a cenote swim, Mérida or the malecón beach.
Day 4: Day at sea. Farewell dinner and show.
Day 5: Return to Tampa and disembark.
